This is my blog about her ^^!
And who she is you will find out!!!
JoJo And Remy Ma Come For The Fake Ones On “FAB.”
When The FADERspoke toJoJolast summer, she seemed focused and ready to retake her spot in the spotlight. Addressing her new musical ambitions, she said, "There's a lot of rawness on the album, a couple of bad words, you know." Today, she delivers on her promise with a super forthright cut called "FAB.," which stands for "Fake Ass Bitches." She starts the song by annihilating a weak one who's in her way:Your recipe is boring, need a little more spice in my cooking.Luckily,Remy Mashows up to deliver a gut punch of a verse, too.
In an email to The FADER, JoJo explained that this song's message is about more than people who get her down. "This song is very direct," she said. "We've all encountered fake ass bitches, no matter the gender. So I wrote a song about it, calling them out but also celebrating the real ones."
JoJo is back, and she’s better than ever. Between her teaser three-song EP which she released last winter and the new track “F*ck Apologies” that is perfect for anyone who has ever needed to say “sorry, not sorry,” she’s proving that she’s a force you can’t keep quiet (though a nasty battle with a record label threatened that). And the fact that she hasn’t released a full-length album in nearly a decade is about to change in a major way, as the singer is about to release her first full-length album, Mad Love. Could you be any more excited?! (She’s also the special guest on the Fifth Harmony tour, in case you needed an extra dose of girl power in your life.) But if you can’t wait for the October drop of her album, there’s good news: a new single is already here! Vogue.com just premered the title track for the album and chatted with the singer about her new work. “Mad Love” the single is a slow R&B ballad with an old-school beat and a building, dramatic chorus that perfectly showcases JoJo’s incredible golden pipes. She can siiiiiiing. It’s a big song, encompassing all the emotions of an up-and-down relationship. You know the kind: it’s bad for you, and you know it, but you can’t stop. It turns out that JoJo knows that particular situation all too well. She told Vogue that the album’s title came in part from her East Coast origins — “mad love” is a favorite phrase for her. But It also relates to her romantic life. “In the beginning of the year, when I started on this album, I got into the studio while at the end of this relationship that I wasn’t really able to let go of, and 'Mad Love' is a product of talking about that,” she told Vogue. Mad Love the album will be released on October 14, but you can listen to the single below. Rest assured this isn’t a comeback; it’s a new chapter in JoJo’s career as an artist. “[With] this album, what I wanted to do was have it be the starting point for the rest of my career, and I want it to build. Yes, I want to win the Grammys, I want to perform at the VMAs, at the Billboard Awards; I want it all. And this is just the beginning.” We’ll be right there with you, JoJo.
JoJo Returns With Sultry Single “Fuck Apologies” Featuring Wiz Khalifa
The Mad Love album rollout begins! Hours after revealing the release date of her forthcoming third album, JoJo has released a new single, “Fuck Apologies,” featuring Wiz Khalifa. And it sounds like a smash.
The track is an unapologetic kiss-off anthem, as Jojo sings about a bad breakup over slinky R&B-tinged beats. “Fuck apologies/ I would say I’m sorry if I really meant it/ I’m not perfect, I got pride/ That’s not what it is this time,” she croons in the song’s infectious chorus. Wiz then proceeds to jump in near the end for a smooth vocal assist.
Can you handle a duet between Jojo and Tori Kelly?
The two will definitely have to find the time in their busy schedules to connect in the studio, but the thought of Jojo and Kelly teaming up for a song together already has our ears burning. While Jojo has a handful of shows in Europe to look forward to in the coming months, Kelly just announced a lengthy string of shows to promote the reissue of her debut album Unbreakable Smile. Fortunately, her tour doesn’t kick off until April, so there’s ample amount of time to dream something up. Jojo Tweeted Kelly on Sunday, saying “when are we doin it, love ?
The Tweet sat idly for several days, until Kelly responded on Tuesday (Jan. 12): “I’m readyyyy.” Jojo and Kelly are some of today’s most powerful, talented singers, and a duet between them would surely result in a delicious power ballad. Or a screaming match, we can’t decide.
